Private TV quoted sources as saying that SHO of the police station Farooq Rao and the sub-inspector tried to lock Aqrarul Hassan in the room.

According to sources, police personnel used to leave the vehicles of Gutka and Mainpuri in exchange for bribe.                                                  In the video, it can be seen that there is a scuffle between the police and the anchor person and instead of taking action against the criminal elements, the policemen are beating Aqarul Hassan.

Iqrar al-Hassan says that when he had no excuse to cover up corruption, the policemen resorted to rudeness and beatings, using violence and force but remaining steadfast.

Police officials say the SHO involved in the violence has been suspended while the policeman has been locked up.                                                    Taking notice of the incident, the Sindh Chief Minister sought details of the matter from SSP Hyderabad.

It is to be noted that crackdown is being carried out by SSP against Gutka and Main Puri in Sindh. Earlier, the mafia has been exposed by recovering Main Puri and Gatka.

On the other hand, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail also took notice of the incident and demanded a report from the IG. He directed the concerned authorities to take action against the officials involved and submit a report after completing the investigation.
