ISLAMABAD: Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki has said that he wants to benefit from Pakistan's experience in the field of cricket. Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister Dr. Fehmida Mirza said that the Saudi Ambassador said that with the popularity of Pakistan cricket team in the region, the game is also gaining popularity in Saudi Arabia. They want to promote cricket in Saudi Arabia.
Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki said that sports are very important for the people. It may be recalled that last month, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Ahmed Al-Maliki had a meeting with Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid, in which bilateral relations were discussed.
Talking during the meeting, Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid said that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are very long.
He said that the hearts of the people of both the countries beat together. Relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are based on Islamic brotherhood and love.
He said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have always supported each other's position on international issues.
