ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has banned a popular video sharing app. A PTA spokesman said Tik Tak was banned for sharing immoral and inappropriate content.
The PTA banned tick-tock after public complaints.
According to the spokesperson, the PTA had given Tik Tak a deadline to file the final notice and reply. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) informed the Tik Tak administration about the ban.
According to the spokesperson, the decision to ban unethical content and take appropriate action could be reconsidered.
