Google launched it’s Google One subscription service in 2018 as a premium upgrade for those using Google Drive. It will extend their backup limit up to a whopping 30 Tera Byte and give them additional perks such as multi-user family plans, exclusive discounts, premium services, and more. In 2019, Google added automatic phone backups for Android users, and now the search engine giant is making the service completely free for everyone and is also extending it to iOS users.       In a recent blog post, Google has announced that it will soon launch a dedicated Google One mobile app for people on both platforms, iOS, and Android. Everyone will be able to back up their phones free of cost and all they need to do is download the Google One app and sign in with a Google account.   This was revealed by senior officials while talking to this correspondent here on Thursday. A meeting was held between PTA and legal representatives of Proxima Beta Pte Ltd (PB). Proxima Beta (PB) representatives briefed the Authority on response to queries raised by PTA with respect to controls put in place by PB to prevent misuse of the gaming platform. The Authority expressed its satisfaction on measures adopted by PB so far, and emphasized on continued engagement and a comprehensive control mechanism. The representative of the company welcomed PTA’s feedback on the issue and assured that the concerns of PTA would be taken into account. In addition, the company requested PTA to unban PUBG.   Former Captain of Pakistan Cricket team, Mohammad Hafeez has been imposed with a tax of Rs. 26 million by the(FBR). According to details, Mohammad Hafeez failed to give a satisfactory answer after he was found to have concealed assets worth Rs. 86 million from the FBR back in 2014.                                      Back in November 2019,Mohammed Hafeez received a notice regarding the alleged concealment of taxes. Back then he refused to have received the notice from FBR and expressed that he had always filed his taxes annually.                                            Mohammad Hafeez who is currently on a tour with Pakistan team in England for a three-match T20 series failed to respond to the queries by the FBR and has thus been imposed with a tax of Rs. 26 million.

          As the geopolitical confrontation between the US and China is likely to persist over many years, both Chinese and global manufacturers may move their factories from China to Pakistan, said a renowned Canadian advisory firm BCA Research in its latest report.   Islamabad High Court has decided to lift the ban on the popular game,PUBG Mobile, sparking a wave of happiness among the youth. The decision on the case was reserved on 14th July and earlier today, Justice Aamir Farooq ordered the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to unblock the game with immediate effect, declaring the regulator’s decision null and void.                                                Jut yesterday, the telecom regulator had announced to retain its ban on PUBG Mobile until its developer shared some required details about the game.   Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has said it has blocked Bigo App and warned Tik Tok for the last time or it will be blocked in Pakistan as well.  Number of complaints had been received from different segments of the society against immoral, obscene  content on social media applications particularly Tik Tok and Bigo, and their extremely negative effects on the society in general and youth in particular.                               Based on these complaints, one app is already blocked while Tik Tok to face a similar action if content isn’t regulated more strictly on the platform.
