Moen-jo-Daro means the `Mound of the Dead.It is one of the oldest cities of the world.Its ruins are 4500 years old.It is at a distance of 27 Kilometres from Larkana,on the right bank of the river Indus.It was discovered in 1922,by Sir John Marshall,whose job was to look after the historical remains.The city was once well built and was the centre of civilization.The people of Moen-jo-vDaro were rich and lived a happy life. They were farmers,traders and craftsman.They wore long loose dresses.Women used jewellery.The interesting objects  were found from the ruins include seals,jewellery,toys,weapons,metal tools and painted pottery.
